Massage Therapy, Instructor Training, Barber Styling, Cosmetology, and Cosmetology/Barber Styling students may enroll with a High School Diploma or GED. Instructor Training students must hold a current Florida Cosmetology license AND have two years of salon experience.

Facial - Skin Care, Full Specialty, Manicuring - Nail Extension I and II, may enroll with a High School Diploma, GED or passing the TABE Level A.

The ability to benefit is determined by tests approved by the Federal Government. ISB has chosen the Level A. Currently, students without a High School Diploma or GED must go to a local high school or GED testing center and take the TABE Level A (#7 & 8 scores: Reading 559, Language 545, and total Mathematics 562). We recommend Marchman Vocational Center. All students who are admitted under the ability to benefit will be counseled by the administrator.

Students will be given information on the location of GED classes which prepare a student for a GED test. It is highly recommended, but not required, by Bene's International School of Beauty, Inc. that all students attempt to earn a GED or a high school diploma. Our admission office will guide those interested through the necessary steps.
