program of study teaching theory and practical
skills for all phases of barbering and cosmetology.
The program prepares the student to understand
the laws of the State. The program provides
skills to grant the student entry into the
barbering profession and provides the foundation
necessary to pass the State exam. |

Facial
- Skin Care Program
360 hours
|
A
program of study designed to instruct
a student in all phases of theory and
practical skin care. The program prepares
the student to master International's
techniques to enter the skin care industry.
Program
Objective:Our objective is to develop
the theory and practical skills for skin
care with instruction in state law, HIV,
AIDS, salon management, chemistry, bacteriology,
sterilization, ethics, skin history and
disorders of the skin; as well as basic
massage, basic make-up, hair removal (includes
bikini wax), neck and shoulder massage,
masks (mud included), Glycolic Acid cosmetic
peels (25%-40% fruit acids), seaweed wash,
aromatherapy, collagen treatments, paraffin
facials and special camouflage make-up
in 360 hours, completing all services
and passing the final exam, to be issued
a specialty registration (license) from
the DBPR. |

Specialty Program 600 hours

This
curriculum and program of study is designed
to instruct a student in manicuring, pedicuring,
disorders, sculptured nails and business
management so the student will be able
to work in the field of manicuring and
master the subject of massage, nail art,
acrylics, fiberglass, gels, wraps, and
salon management. The program also teaches
theory and practical phases of skin care.
The program prepares the student to master
International techniques to enter the
nail and skin care industry. |

This program is designed to prepare a
cosmetologist, skin care technician, or
nail technician to be able to demonstrate
their practical skill and develop skill
necessary to teach hair, skin or nail
course. High School Diploma or GED
are required for entrance into the program.

a student in manicuring, pedicuring, nail

Massage Therapy
Program 600 hours

This curriculum and program of study is
designed to instruct a student for employment
as massage therapists. Program Objective:
This will develop the theory in history,
requirements, ethics, anatomy, physiology,
equipment, products, safety, sanitation,
consulting, understanding movements and
practical skills in massage of body, face,
scalp, master hydrotherapy, therapeutic,
sports and specialized massage, to understand
therapeutic exercise. Massage students
are provided diversified, integrated,
theory and practical, programs based on
twelve NCBTMB sources. This prepares the
massage student to pass a National Certification
exam. |
